Training treats
Training treats that break into small rewards.
Good training treats are small, smelly and quick to eat, so your dog stays focused. Ours are one ingredient each and snap by hand into pea-sized pieces.
Use a lighter treat for long sessions and save a richer organ treat for the hardest moments, like recall at the park.
Small fish rewards
What makes a good training treat?
Small, tasty and quick to eat. A treat your dog can finish in a second or two keeps the session moving.
How small should training treats be?
About the size of a pea for small dogs, and a little bigger for large dogs. One strip of Chicken Jerky gives several rewards.
How many training treats can I give?
Count training treats as part of the day’s food. Keep all treats under about 10% of your dog’s daily food.
Which training treat is best for a dog that reacts to chicken?
Buff Jerky or Goat Lungs are different proteins from chicken.
